-
Have world renowned social psychologist, Phil Zimbardo, inspire your employees to become more aware of how situations affect us and impact corporate culture.
-
Phil is professor emeritus at Stanford and conducted the famous Stanford Prison Experiment in 1971 that changed our understanding of situational influence. HIP’s mission is to empower young people and adults to act on their values in the face of contrary pressure. We have just completed our first corporate pilot at Google.
-
Phil speaks to a wide range of audiences at outlets from TED and professional associations to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. He has been particularly effective at the Markkula Center for Business Ethics whose audience is primarily board members and executives. His focus is on raising people’s awareness of the power of situations inherent in every corporate culture to easily influence us to act outside of our values.
-
He is translating his life’s work on how easily systems create situations that pull the worst from people to harnessing that knowledge and building skills to create systems that pull the best from people. Dr. Zimbardo shows how 40 years of seminal social psychology research might be applied to act as positive, pattern-changing social levers in today’s corporate world, increasing engagement, innovation, and productivity while positively impacting the bottom line. His talk centers on the importance of giving people the awareness and skills to take ethically courageous action at every opportunity.
