Social Fitness as Reflective Self-Analysis
The first set of techniques utilized in Social Fitness training is designed to teach individuals how to form an effective strategy for reflection and self-analysis. The implementation of this process allows a person to begin to identify their naturally well-developed and underdeveloped aspects of Social Fitness and helps them to generate a specific goal and strategy for how to work on each; whether a person is attempting to develop their Social Fitness alone, in a group, or while receiving professional assistance.
There are many key psychological and behavioral processes that an individual can learn to change and enhance while mindfully exercising to improve their Social Fitness. For example, a person may replace an unwanted behavior or habit, shift a thought pattern to a new configuration, or transform an unhelpful attitude or expectation; they may become more skilled at emotion regulation, gain a new social skill, or simply enter a more supportive environment in order to get the level of Social Fitness that they are looking for.
